3 inches is by far our most common size of cabinet pull, with over three times as many pulls as the second most common, our 96mm pulls (which comes out to be about 3.78 inches). It is important to remember when selecting pulls by size that the size is not determined by the overall size of the pull. Rather, the size goes by the pulls drill center, which is the distance between the screws. With many of our pulls, the overall size may be significantly larger than the drill center, such as our bar pulls, which have the distinctive look of the two ends extended well beyond the holes.
The reason we measure the pull by its drill center and not by its overall length is that many cabinets come with holes that are pre-drilled, and many of our customers are replacing old hardware and need their new hardware to match their old holes.
Our manufacturers often make the identical pulls in different sizes, and it is very common for our customers to order multiple sizes of the same pull for different cabinets in the same kitchen. To make your shopping experience as easy as possible, we group our pulls together in collections. So if you found a 3 inch pull that suits your style and want something larger for the heavy pot drawer under the stove, just click on the collection link in the 3 inch pull product page and you'll find the matching products in the other sizes we carry. You can even get appliance pulls to match!
